To compliment your application we offer bespoke Stainless Steel heaters
and dump loads for customers to fit using standard plumbing fittings
in their water heating / dump load installation.
This design allows
fitting into standard 15mm compression fittings available in all
plumbing and hardware outlets and gives greater flexibility of use.
When fitting into a standard hot water cylinder we recommend the use of
a 22mm Tee
with a 15mm at one end. Average price for the Tee is £3.50 from
most stores.
The connections to the heater /dump load are by two heat resistant cables
which may be extended using suitably sized cables and connectors or crimps.
Earthing can be provided using a safety earthing clip.
We offer the heaters in two standard ratings:-
600Watts @ 24Volts DC (0.96 ohms) 25Amps
150Watts @ 12Volts DC (0.96 ohms) 12.5Amps
We can make heaters to suit your application up to 950Watts @ 24volts
upon request.
Our heaters are much more robust and forgiving than other
makes
so beware of cheaper alternatives.......
Dimensions of the heaters are 12.7mm dia by 180mm length for the heated
area
plus the fully brazed fitting jacket 15mm dia by 25mm long.
Material is 304 grade stainless steel suitable
