Typical Wind Gen Application1.
This is a typical wind generator or altenator application system which shows the connection of the dual instrument DPM62VA which is shown monitoring the generator voltage and the battery charge and discharge current. The maximum supply to the instrument is 28volts at <4mA.
The instrument can measure higher voltages when using the connections shown. The current measurement is acheived using the calibrated shunt as fitted. The shunt MUST then be rated at the maximum load current for use. The shunt rating may be made greater than maximum current generated and can be provided.See the BASIC4 applications pages for further information.
