Typical Solar Application1.
This is a typical solar application system which shows connection of the dual instrument DPM62VA which is shown monitoring the voltage and current generated by the solar panels. Voltages up to 35volts and currents up to 199.99amps can be catered for with suitable shunts. We recommend the instrument is made up to the maximum ranges to allow for system expansion as most installations tend to grow by addition of more panels and larger storage batteries plus the greater load capabilities this will then allow. By connecting the small black negative at the end of the calibrated shunt as shown it is possible to read plus and minus currents as loads and charging are monitored.
