The sketch opposite shows a typical basic application where the DPM62VA is being used to monitor the voltage and current in a simple circuit.
In this circuit the shunt monitoring connections are reversed to allow plus and minus current readings. This arrangement can be used in any dual circuit such as SOLAR or WIND etc.
Shunt maximum current rating is limited to a choice of the following maximum currents <50, 75, 100, 130 and 175A.
The maximum supply voltage to the instrument is 28volts as shown. The maximum voltage which can be measured with this simple circuit is 35volts.
